Air circulation is one of the essential functions of a mattress. With each movement on a mattress, the air circulation is to compare with a sponge: it absorbs water and gives it to the squeeze again. Similarly, this works with movement on the mattress with the air in the mattress.

But this also means also that with every movement also air escapes from the mattress which also contains dust and other particles. These dust and other particles than get on the skin and in the eyes and - nevertheless - in the air!
